My complaint:
I asked the cashier for a pack of Virginian Super Slim purse pack cigarettes’. She gave me the wrong brand of cigarettes, I didn’t notice it until I got in my car. I then when back into the store to get the correct brand and I explained to her she gave me the wrong brand. The cashier asked the manager to come over and the manager stated it was against the law to return the cigarette’s and they could not exchange the cigarettes’ I contacted the corporate office and they stated yes, that was correct.
Suggested solution:
If this is the law I advised the corporate rep, they should have a sign in the store stating this information to the consumer. I think this was very unfair, so buyer beware.
