Dish Network complaint: Paused service but they kept billing

My complaint:

I paused my service with dish because of a remodel on sept 2. I kept getting calls for a past due bill threatening a disconnect. I assumed an error in their records. I called on nov 4 and told them I had it paused. They said I didn’t “accept the pause”. I have no idea what they are talking about. I never had a follow up. I went ahead and canceled but they insist on charging me for that time after I had it paused.

Suggested solution:

Drop the charges from the date I called to have the Sercice paused.
