My complaint:
Appalled by Richard Vaughan (I believe) commentary on the top 25 individual eventing show jumping phase. It was a total disgrace to the sport, derogatory, sexist and at times racist. It made light of the severe heart ache the Swiss team underwent loosing there team mate, Jet. And he was utterly clueless about the dedication, time and skill you need to compete at that level. Total disaster – he actually made the Olympic Games feel trivial and comical. I turned over to BBC (thank goodness) and will absolutely be cancelling my subscription.
Suggested solution:
Public apology and acknowledgment that Richard was incompetent. And an apology for making claims such as “who says women can’t win gold”. Shocking.
