My complaint:
When 1st arrived asked what the soup of the day was, because they had one senior lunch item listed, grilled cheese and soup. I got my sandwich and 10 min later the waitress tells me it’s going to be another 10 min to get my soup because they have to make it. Told her never mind. She said she would deduct it from the bill. Asked if I wanted a side salad for free, asked if I could have a bit of fruit, she told me sure. When it came time to pay, the waitress hadn’t deducted the soup, and the person ringing up the bill was very rude and said you had fruit instead. What happened to the waitress saying no charge? Not to mention we had to remind the waitress 3 times to bring us refills. Not going back to that Denny’s that can’t handle having one soup of the day on hand. Would you pay $7.59 for a grilled cheese and a 14 cup of fruit? Outrageous!!
