My complaint:

I booked a room online at the Days Inn Boonville Missouri for the night and when I arrived to check in they required a 100 dollar cash deposit in order to check in. This was a no refund discount booking through AMAC. This the first time it has ever happened to me. The front desk told me that it was assurance that I didn’t trash the room of which I did get my deposit back but they didn’t check my room before I checked out. I had to pay fees to withdraw cash from an atm not associated with my bank

Suggested solution:

I will not stay at a hotel that doesn’t tell me of their policy before I book my room and if this is a local policy or a Windham policy they need to be upfront about it so I can make other accommodations
