Crypto.com complaint: Fees for retrieving tokens transferred to wrong network address

My complaint:

I transferred a little more than $400 worth of Matic tokens from my Binance to Crypto.com address. However, it did not arrive because it went into the wrong native network instead of an ERC20 network. Fortunately, the team at crypto.com is able to help retrieve but with the incentive of $200 fee.

I just feel the onus should be on both sides. From my experience, exchanges like Binance and Coinbase make efforts to prevent wrong sending but in crypto.com’s case (compare attached screenshots), I’m confident I won’t be the only case if nothing is done after my feedback.

Suggested solution:

I did share with the agent to feedback my case to the management. I do hope the management will look into my appeal to split the fee.
