My complaint:
On the 13th of January 2024, I joined coinswitch that requested that I make multiple payments into the merchants account. The 1st request was a deposit of R5000 and the 2nd request was to make a payment of R16 500 and the 3rd request was to make a payment of R38 620 and the withdrawal will be ready when I waited for my money to be paid into my account l was therefore told that I need to make another payment of R78 250 because my credit score has been removed from 100% to 98% I made a payment on the same day but I was told that more money is required.
I was therefore requested to make a payment of R191000again in order to fix my credit score. I had no means of pausing the money so I was struggling financially since I have exhausted all my funds.
A fried on the 15th of Jan paid the amount of R60 000 on my behalf and I was asked to pay R65 000 so that they can help to withdraw my money.
I made that payment of R65 000 on the 3rd of Feb however I waited for my
Money as I was instructed by it never came through.
I then enquired with the teacher and I was told that my withdrawal request has failed and I must R105 678 first befor I can withdraw the amount.
I then advised the teacher that I do not have that amount of money. I asked them to please refund all the money I have paid and they have refused because they are still demanding for me to pay R105 678. I am at the verge of being kicked out from the rental house since I cannot afford to pay the landlord.
All I am asking the coinswitch is to refund the money that I have paid back into my account. I have attached proof of communication.
I have spoken to different people in that company to release my funds but they are all demanding more money. I have attached proof of payments for your perusal.
