My complaint:
Hello Team,
The issue happenned with me with COINBASE was in November 2017 and it has hurt me badly and left me with no peace.Me and my husband had coinbase accounts with ethereums in 2017 which we sold and bought bitcoins for the whole amount.I had upto 1.31 and my husband had upto 0.57bitcoins in two different accounts of ours.Unfortunately, we lost access to our accounts at the same time in November 2017 and to my more unfortunate situation there was a fake coinbase customer number on google which had similar website like coinbase and logo and hence we assumed it was coinbase and called them and complained about the issue,they requested to send an email complaint and told would followup with us in a week ,we got our accounts actiavted after a week or 10days and the fake coinbase customer guys called us and updated that they would like to move our bitcoins from mine and my husbands account to a safe server and stole our bitcoins.We were assuming it was coinbase but just thought would check and realized we were scammed and in two hours or so of this incident we were able to connect with coinbase and requested to cancel the transaction which they couldnt and couldnt help us in the issue for which we lost our bitcoins as well as peace.Till date we still try to reach them to know what happenned and help us with his but we are at the blame.We even filed a police complaint on this and shared with coinbase but they couldnt help us in any means.They could have stopped the transaction or could have done more research on to which and where the transaction went but they have put the blame on us and despite of this they locked my accoutn from buying any kind of cryptos till date.I have everything documented and waiting if ever me and my husband could get our 1.31 and 0.57 bitcoins back.We were at trouble as coinbase couldnt even on these scams or couldnt control somebody posting themselves as coinbase on google which popped up on th first page and took our saved money away ! Appreciate all the help here !
