My complaint:

I opened an account during a promotional period with the belief that I would qualify for a promotion if I made a onetime deposit of $500. When I opened the account, I asked the banker if there was any other deposit that would qualify other than a direct deposit. I was told that I could make a zelle deposit and that an ACH deposit would not qualify. The banker even called another banker to . After the 90-day period I called customer service to ask when the money would be received, and they informed me that I did not meet the qualifications for the promotion. They said that I would have to contact the bank directly to be able to have this changed. I went into the bank in the middle of May and the manger asked me to come back after the promotion had been rewarded. When I did, she said that she submitted the request and that it would take 5day for results. I called in to check the status and she informed me that she wasn’t the manager at the time I opened my account, and that manager would have to approve the request. I gave her another 5 days and she is still saying the same thing. I call and she says she will call the manager and get back to me, but she never does. I keep calling in and she can’t give me an answer.

Suggested solution:

I would like the money I should of received from the promotion. $300
