My complaint:
My niece and I went to chicken shack on Mack in Grosse Pointe on Wednesday 01012020 @ 3:17 pm. She and I purchased two separate orders. I purchased a four piece chicken dinner with a large coleslaw with my butter on the side she purchased a four piece dinner with two small barbecue sauces. I also purchased a large bottle of barbecue sauce. My chicken dinner with my large slaw came to $18 my barbecue sauce was $4.51 which came to a total of $22.51. My niece total came to approximately $15.00. After waiting for 20 minutes for our food and going home to eat it the food was horrible she lives upstairs and I live down we did not eat together about five minutes after I started eating my phone rang it was her telling me there food is horrible I told her I felt the same way the coleslaw had no juice and it was nothing but chopped up cabbage, extremely dry. The chicken was hard dark colored and taste like it was cooked in very old grease the potatoes looked horrible they were cold they weren’t fresh the dinner was absolutely disgusting. To have a taste for some chicken shack and be very hungry and then to go home to eat and the food only to find that it is terrible is very dis-satisfying. I always love Chicken Shack however I have never eaten at this particular one. I have always eaten at the one on Woodward and 13 mile. I am expecting a response from Chicken Shack along with two vouchers to be able to replace the terrible orders that I received. I never would have expected that Chicken Shack would sell food that way as I have been eating there for years, just not at that particular location. My cashier was Lauryn who was very nice , polite, and had an excellent approach to us! Her customer service was great!!!! However the food was terrible!!!
Suggested solution:
My solution it’s for them to use fresh grease when cooking their food. I also would like a voucher to go to ANOTHER location to replace my orders. After all we spent approximately $38.00 together. I also would like a response back acknowledging that my complaint was received. I also kept my receipts.
