My complaint:

My son recently purchased a 2014 Chevy truck from Park Chevorlet in Kernersville NC. He had it about 30 days and the transmission went out. He paid to have it towed to our local Chevy dealer because we lived in VA. Thet assessed the truck and stated transmission was going to need to ber replaced, would cost 5200$. My son contacted Park Chevorlet who stated well our mechanics that inspect out used vehicles make mistakes, they are human. They wanted him to pay to have it towed to them from Lynchburg VA to Kenersville. He was going to have to use the extended warrenty he got when he purchased the truck for 27,000$ I might add. And they would not agree to replace the truck. My son requested them to take the defective truck back because now he was concerned about what else was wrong with the truck that they may have missed. They say in their advertising they hold themselves accountable, but that is not what they are doing at all. They are making excuses for not checking the transmission. The dealer in Lynchburg stated the transmission fluid was horrible and this should have been identified. Park Chevrolet told my son if he wanted a different truck then they would assess the trade in value of this one. This is completely unacceptable. He had not even made a payment yet and the transmission is gone. It is at our house and the dealer wants him to pay for towing and are only making excuses and not trying to resolve this problem. He would like for them to take this truck back(t5ow it back) and let him get another truck from the lot. I am hoping by putting this in Complain.biz someone from Chevrolet will help us.

Suggested solution:

He would like for them to get this truck towed back to them at their expense not his. He has paid several hundred dollars already having it towed and then paid several hundred dollars for our local chevy dealer to assess the problem. He would like for Park Chevrolet to stand up for the statement of being held accountable and replace this truck with another one on the lot for equal trade.
