Cash App complaint: Scammers for puppies

My complaint:

I found a website that sold puppies I put my information in to be contacted. That Sunday I was contacted via text and asked to make a deposit for the puppy and then we could start the process. I sent 300$ initially and then was instructed to send another 700$ which I did via cash app. The contract was never sent for 24 hours I called and texted the seller and stated I wanted a refund. The next day a fictional contract was sent to me with misspelled words and a fake address. I called and texted again and was given the run around no puppy was ever sent. I filed a police report and stated what happened. The police officer called the scammer and they stated it was their wife that handles the contract. Later they canceled the phone number and cash app never did anything to help me recover the money.

Suggested solution:

They should help me file charges and refund me my 1000$ back immediately.
