My complaint:
I was scammed by someone on facebook posing as a event organizer for an upcoming vendor event. I paid and requested a receipt and information related to the event and the person blocked and was no longer able to be found. I tried to reach out to cash app but no number listed to contact them , therefore I filled a dispute with my credit card company and submitted valid proof . My credit card company reverse the charge. I was conducting a business transaction when my cash app would not work to send or recieve money and I discovered my account had been closed.
Suggested solution:
Review the information provided to them regarding the fraudulent transaction and go after the scammer. I would think they would at least notify their customers that we are closing the account prior.
