My complaint:
On January 14th at 8:06 pm, I sent $300 to $1yunngg. The recipient stated she did not receive the money. I reached out to CashApp and they said they will investigate. They asked me to request a refund, which I did. The recipient also reached out to CashApp and they said they were unable to find a transaction with this information. I sent her a screenshot of the transaction and she sent it to cashapp. Cashapp keeps sending her the same messages they are sending me: I went into cashapp to check on the refund and now I have the message that my refund was declined. What does that mean? Declined why? It seems I’m getting the runaround with all these emails from different Cash Support people: First I received an email from Caesar from Cash Support dated January 17th, then I received an email from Then I received an email from Andrea from Cash Support dated January 25th asking for the same information that Caesar asked. Then on January 26th, I received an email from Daniel. He said he was taking over for Caesar. Then I received another email from Joseph B. on January 27th with the same message. Then on February 2nd, I received a mesage from Gigi who said she sees that the money went to the recipient but the recipient said she never received it and based on the Cash Support email she received, they don’t see it either. Then on February 3rd, I received an email from Niko saying the recipient received the payment.
Suggested solution:
This should be resolved by refunding my $300. CashApp stated to me that the recipient received the money. But CashApp told the recipient they don't see the transaction. Attached is the email from Cash Support to my recipient.
