My complaint:
I instantly cashed out $500 from my cash app to my bank account Saturday august 1st at 10:22 pm. They charged me $7.50 (15%) to have it done instantly. Sunday morning I look at my account it’s not there. Monday I call cash app they tell me that even tho I chose instant cash out they made a mistake now my money wouldn’t be in my account for 1-3 business days. They then refunded me my $7.50. On the 4th day my money was still not in my account, even tho other transactions of different amounts I did all week went through with no problem. When I finally got a hold of some on the 4th day they told me that the transaction went through to call my bank. I called my bank they can’t do anything because they never received it. I told that to cash app they gave me a transaction ID number to give to my bank to track my money when I gave it to my bank they told me only the sender can use that ID to track a payment, not the receiver. So now I’m stuck. Out of $500 with no answers.
Suggested solution:
When I instantly cashed out it should have been transferred to my account just like all my other transactions does. now that the money is missing they should be trying to track it or give me a refund instead of pushing it off on my bank who can’t do anything.
They double charge for even using an atm to withdraw
I had the same problem. I cashed out 4 separate transactions. Once I noticed they never made it to my bank they refunded 3 of the 4 and the 4th one that I never got back was $544.00. Maybe 500 is the magic number to steal. Cash app customer service is terrible. There is nothing we can do because our money is not insured by FDIC or anyone for that matter. So using Cash app is always a gamble. They can steal your money and there is nothing you can do. I’m living proof.
