My complaint:

I have been using cash app since 2016 with cash tag $NatMatos with no issues at all. In March 2021 I opened another account $extracharming with a different email address. I made a transfer of $700 from $NatMatos to $extracharming in April. I requested a cash card which I received. When I tried to access my account to activate my card I was not receiving the ation code via email. I tried numerous times to ask for a ation code to access my account but I never received it. I contacted support and provided the info they requested. They even acted like they were transferring the funds but then gave me some BS about security reasons they can’t override. I have proven my identity over and over and nothing. They don’t have the right to keep anyone’s funds when an account is closed. I don’t even know what happened to my account or why it was closed. No one is providing any info just the same automated emails.

Suggested solution:

Reopen my account for $extracharming so I can receive a ation code via email to access my account OR send a check to address on file. You can't keep people's funds on a closed account.
