My complaint:
I’ve been with cashapp a little under a year. I mainly use it for investing. Two days ago I cashed out on one of my investments, and tried to send my younger brother some money. The money would not go through. So I gave him my cashapp card but it kept getting denied. Today I get a notification that my account is closed for breaking the terms of agreement.
Suggested solution:
They should at least let me know what happened

This happened to me as well and I am unable to link a bank or debt card so that I can cash out. When in email cash app support they just keep responding me with the same email saying that I my account is closed because I violated the terms of agreement. I’ve googled this issue trying to find a way to retrieve my money from cash app and from what I’m reading it looks like there is no way to get your money if cash app closes your account. The same happen to me then say i merge my bussiness account with my personal account I dont have a bussiness and I dont know what I did wrong I only use cash app for personal reason now iI got a 1099 on already taxed money and they give me same message and saying theres nothing they can and will do about it not they cant and want do smh

Same thing happened to me. My Account Closed for violating the terms of their agreement. I am totally confused, and calling their customer service 🙁 number is useless. Horrible customer service!
My account was just closed today as well. It just says I broke the terms of service, nothing else. I’ve been using cashapp since 2018 without any issues. This makes zero sense.

The same thing happened to me today. It is very strange. I use cash app to send money to my kids who live out of state or away at collage. I tried to log into my cash app and it said my account has been closed due to violations to terms and agreements. I tried contacting support through the app. I got the same response. Then I tell you you can make a new 1 and I do and they shut it immediately down today 5 minutes after I opened a new account
They closed my account for no reason but allowed me to create another one then closed that one as well, saying that I violate the terms. I call support and the guy that I spoke with was very rude and rushed me off the phone.
