Cash App complaint: Cash Out Money Disappeared

My complaint:

I attempted to instantly cash out a total of $275 using the Cash App. The app states that all money was instantly deposited. I select support saying where’s my deposit and it states that instant deposits arrive immediately. If your instant deposit didn’t, you should contact your bank. It’s possible that they’re holding it, with no option to contact support. I called my bank, and they have no evidence or record of any attempted deposit via the Cash App. Where is my money? According to the Cash App it is already in my bank account, and according to my bank the transaction does not exist. I called their customer support number I found after an hour of googling, and it told me to contact customer support through the app because at this time they do not usually have people on the phones. I selected my account then support something else cash out cash out wasn’t instant. The app then says instant deposits that are rejected by your debit card will be refunded to your bank account within 1-3 business days. Unfortunately, we cannot cancel or reverse completed transactions. Again, there is no option to contact support. It was not rejected by my debit card, the money never ever was attempted to enter my bank account. The only way I could find the option to contact support is if I selected something else receiving a payment contact support. I have emailed the cash app, and I hope this can be resolved. The money has to be somewhere, or I will contact the Better Business Bureau and fight for my money.

Suggested solution:

Guarantee that my $275 deposit actually ends up in my bank account.

3 years ago - I filed a complaint with the BBB and received my money in my account pretty soon after. I also was able to avoid late fees, however it should not be this much trouble to contact customer service for a seemingly reputable company. So this has been resolved as of now.

Same thing happened to me. Had my deposit all weekend and then this morning its just gone

Same! I had mine all weekend and then this morning, my bank account was in the negative and the deposit was gone.

Same exact thing happened to me, my bank told me if I dont make the account positive by 8pm tonight all my pending transactions will come with overdraft fees. Negative a very large amount and still no response from CashApp emails.

I get my paychecks through cashapp (independent contractor) and get paid every Friday for over a year. Never an issue till today.

Also might be useful information, I bank with Regions if any of you guys do as well.

That just happened to me! I have regions! It was there yesterday, and I got up this am to find out it was gone!

I had that exact same problem with $1,100 and after fighting and trying everything possible including contacting the b b b they closed the case without giving me any resolve whatsoever I still have no idea where the $1,101.61 went and between Cash Out Green Dot in the Better Business Bureau I was able to get the majority of the account number it was sent to “my bank” but it was still never enough to look up the account now basically two months later I have no idea what to do
