My complaint:

I am passing along some information that I am hoping you can shed some light on. To be completely transparent, I do not have anything to do with this first hand. I am going to convey some information about a Local BIG company that is not using best practice when dealing with the safety of the community as well as the safety of its employees. This company is GREY EAGLE!
This particular division is loading and driving. The Loaders have been directly effected. The employees have a contract that is supposed to employ 13 Full Time associates. There are NEVER enough workers. Most employees are working 14-17 hours at a time. They continue to add more jobs that are not even in their contract. Currently they are trying to force overtime. These employees have suffered lack of sleep and have become completely exhausted. This type of work habit and lack of sleep is going to cause injury possibly to the public and employee eventually. Some people are getting suspended because they don’t come in that extra day for overtime, even if they have already put in 65 hours that week. This creates a very unsafe and unhealthy environment both physically and mentally. I don’t know that anyone knows this kind of demand a company like Grey Eagle is putting on its employees. Is it going to take a accident or God forbid a fatality before Grey Eagle starts to practice a safe work environment for the employees as well as the public? How much is too much? Mr. Davis, This needs to remain anonymous please, but I would like for you to investigate and shed some light to this dreadful situation. Please help in any way you can.

Suggested solution:

They should hire more full-time loaders and the day before the case count they should recognize how much help they need and provide them with it no questions I ask
