My complaint:
I recently purchased a brand new vehicle from a Birchwood dealership. The vehicle was a showroom vehicle and had a cracked shift panel cover on the center console. I was told the part would be replaced. Upon replacement, a scratched up part was installed. After voicing my displeasure over the “new” part, I was told that the dealership would not replace the part a second time. I was also told that the technician said the scratches weren’t there when he installed it, implying I scratched the part up myself. This was one of many things that went wrong throughout the process of the vehicle purchase. After this latest event, I find it hard to see myself purchasing another vehicle through a Birchwood dealership the next time around.
Suggested solution:
Replace the part with a brand new, Damage free part, the way it was expected to be done the first time around.
