My complaint:
The minimum amount required to participate in this launchpad project was 0,1 BNB…which I proceeded to buy and wait for the subscription period.
However, I noticed that in the Launchpad project preparation page my Daily average BNB holdings were not updating to my current amount, rather staying at 0,01 BNB which was what I had previously. This went on for a couple of days.
I contacted costumer support when the delay to update reached 2 days…and was told to wait for the holdings to update…so I did.
Turns out being passive was the worst thing to do, and when the launch window arrive the balance still didn’t show my current holdings. Turns out it waa a wording issue, it’s not really a daily average but a weekly average what they user to calculate your holdings….had I known this I could have bought more BNB to move that average up and be able to have the minimum BNB amount to participate. Next guy in costumer support just said he was sorry and pointed at a page with the correct wording which was not available in the launchpad project page itself.
While I seek legal advice on how to proceed I leave my complaint here, since I was left out of potential earnings and token allocations and now sit on an asset (BNB) which I barely used for discounted fees
Suggested solution:
First update the wording in future launchpad projects from daily average to either weekly average or preparation period average for the BNB oe any token holdings needed to take part.
Second, train better costumer support because most of the time you have a better idea how their plataform works than them, and they can cause real economic harm by giving bad advice.
Third just link relevant documents rather than just including a silly disclaimer thinking that doesn't make Binance of the costumer support agent liable for any economic harm.
If you wonder why I’m pissed, that crypto launch gained 2000% in value, so by being left put of it because the customer support agent didn’t know how the calculation was made (weekly average rather than daily average) I was left out of some very big earnings (al least 1000 US dollars in my case since I was investing 50). After being transfered to the “senior” support team, they blamed me for “agreeing” with support at the time and not making my own side research…which is ludicrous. Is like telling you to go to the doctor and when he offers… Read more »
