My complaint:
I was scammed by hackers who took over an existing Binance Youtube account on the night of May 6th, most likely exploiting leaks in Binances youtube password account. The group then presented a fake live event and interview with Binance CEO Chengpeng Zhao and directed customers to a fake website [ https:bnblive.ceo ] created to mimic very closely the Binance website. From there I transferred my entire 10 BNB coins (approx $600 1 BNB) to what I expected to be an internal Binance account double bonus offer address and lost all investments instantly.
Suggested solution:
Binance Customer service has not responded despite my ongoing messages to their support center.
If Binance do not return my invested money, I will report them to the relevant financial authorities, I have incontrovertible proof of the Binance identity theft scam. Binance has been in the position to act quickly to lock the funds from the suspicious address and return the investment that was stolen, however they have failed to respond to my support offering no communication whatsoever.
