BetterMe complaint: Charged even after cancellation of subscription !

My complaint:

I signed up for first Trial week @ $9.99 on 10 Jan2023 ; downloaded the app and same day , used the app to turn off auto renewal and cancel subscription so that i didnt get charged automatically for beyond my trial week . as per the steps, once i did the steps to cancel the subscription on the app, i received an email again asking me to complete the cancellation process by hitting a cancel subscription option which I clicked and it took me to a website where it said its successfully cancelled . Then on 17th Jan 2023 ( exactly when the first week got over) i got charged $42.84 ! have written at least 10 emails to support with the emails and screenshot proofs of the history of this . I need my money to be refunded the earliest.

Suggested solution:

refund me the $2.84$ which was not supposed to be charged after i already cancelled my subscription beyond the first paid week . Their app has a bug which prevents from users to turn off auto renewal and perhaps donesnt work when using the app. There is no guidance for users specially didnt feel I needed anythign when i got emails and ation of subscription cancellation
