My complaint:

On 5282021, I became aware that my account had been accessed and funds withdrawn. The withdrawals occurred on 42821 and 42921. This was through a Bank of America Debit Card issued by Unemployment. I was not made aware of this activity until 52821 because I had undergo surgery on 5321 and had not gone to the bank to withdraw funds until I was feeling well enough to go out. When I became aware of this, I immediately contacted Bank of America and reported this. My information and report was taken and I was told I would be issued a new card and that I would receive a claim form to complete. I never received the claim form and from the time I made the report, it has been a series of misinformation, poor response, inaccurate information, lack of consistency and poor investigation without all of the information. I have done everything the Bank of America Claims Dept has asked me to do. I have provided a statement as instructed however my statement was never attached to the review of the claim. My claim was denied and closed prematurely, inaccurately and without the information I was asked and did provide. I have been treated rudely and disrespectfully by the persons I have spoken with, I have been insulted with Insinuations as to my credibility of my claim. I have been given different answers to the same questions and I have not had my issue resolved. I cannot believe the unprofessionalism as my concerns are addressed and the misinformation. I just do not understand this but I need appropriate answers from the right people. When I have asked for the name or contact information of how to move this complaint up to those of authority, my question is not answered

Suggested solution:

The claim should have been throughly investigated and all of the information should have been attached. I should have received the claim form, I should have been given correct and appropriate information. i should not have had my account blocked because this lead to the series of events of not receiving the claim form. I should have not been treated with a lack of respect. I am the victim. I am asking and pleading for assistance in resolving this issue. I have provided statements, I have made a police report, I have done everything that has been asked of me. Please review the claim. It is Claim 210528301729 and please have some contact me to review the information. I am having a difficult time trusting anyone I speak with at the Claims Dept because the information has not been consistent.
