My complaint:
It was a family trip. There were 12 of us, which included a 3 month old and a 1 year old. Only 2 of us had ever flew before, and that was only 1 time before this flight. We had paid for round trips from Louisville to Naples, then back home. On the way home, our flight was delayed, so we took a later flight. Then, somehow, they said it was weather related, we had to set on the plane for 2 1/2 hours at the Atlanta Airport, waiting for a gate. And then our next flight got canceled. And when we got off the plane, we were told by a Delta representative that there were no other flights for us to take home. That there were no flights for us to take the next day. So basically, we were SCREWED! WE asked about our luggage, she said that it would be there when we got to Louisville. So we literally had to walk around the airport, sleep on the floor with the babies, we had no money, no way to get a car rental, no way to get a hotel, it was a NIGHTMARE! On top of that, there was noone there to help us and noone asked us if we needed help. And to make matters worse, noone would help us when we asked for help. 2 of the Atlanta employees even tried to fight us. When we were trying to get help, one of them named Larry, who helps the disabled, lol, was going to fight my 22 yr old son, I guess because we were laying down in an area and wasn’t suppose to be. But how was we to know, there was no signs saying otherwise. It was late at night, and we were tired, and didn’t know what to do. telling anybody what to do. Larry actually acted as though he was going to hit my son in front of my grand babies and nephews. Then we were walking out to go to get a lyft ride, my son’s girlfriend had stopped to ask someone where do we go, when she did that, I stopped where I was. A tall Atlanta employee came walking through, and I hear him say, Get out of the aisle, before I step on you. Well he was talking to me, because he then made it clear to me that he talking to me. That of course caused a big argument with my family. I feel that they were acting out of racism. So we were stuck in Atlanta airport, with no way home, nothing to eat, no where to sleep with these babies. We had to end up overdrafting our bank accounts for rides, food, and eventually trips home. Delta has yet to contact us or reimburse us for any of it. We had round trips. How do we end up getting stuck. Don’t they have policy procedures to follow. Aren’t they suppose to help you. So I had a round trip home, and ended up spending $3,000 to get us another flight, with Delta I may add that supposedly had no flights! And where was the bad weather. Not once did I see a raindrop traveling from Atlanta to Louisville! No weather at all during those 2 1/2 days! It was the first time I had ever flown, it will be my last! I think Delta sucks! I think Atlanta Airport sucks! I guess I’m going to have to contact a lawyer because no one is contacting us. It was the worst experience of my life! Delta states their policy is to get you on another flight, get you reimbursements, so I guess, like I said, we’re going to have to contact lawyers. We were definitely racially profiled at Atlanta Airport. And when flights are canceled, and there’s no rentals, no hotels, where there is NOTHING, why is there not a representative from the airlines to help you! Especially to help those who have never flown before! We didnt have a clue what to do! My question once again is, HOW DO 12 OF US, WITH ROUND TRIP TICKETS, END UP PAYING AT LEAST 5000 MORE TO GET HOME.!!!!!!!

They should contact us and apologize, Atlanta Airport and Delta. We should definitely get reimbursed for every nickel that we spent once we got off that plane. I don't care who purchased the tickets. Whose name they was in. Everyone had to end up spending money for something. As far as Atlanta Airport, I don't know. You tell me how you would feel if you were racially profiled and attacked! Should I protest?????
