My complaint:

I filed a claim 6/10/25 for water damage to my apartment unit , the first claim was denied due to not being able to obtain the reason for the loss even after sending photos of damages . No problem . The water leak continued therefore I ended up filing another claim to report more damages on 7/21/25. The second adjuster began processing of my claim only 2 weeks later states this is a duplicate claim and that the original claim must be re opened and worked . Despite this information I continued sending everything he asked for to compensate and complete processing of my claim. I kept being promised dates nothing , I was advised everything from me on my end was received and nothing else was needed that was on 8/27 and 9/6 my adjuster left for PTO stating my claim will be wrapped up for disbursement by his supervisor . I called escalated phone call only to be told I have to wait for my adjuster to return from PTO. I waited until 9/11 when he returned again advising everything was received and on 9/12 I should be getting a call from him to go over settlement . No call but I received a notification stating my claim was accepted for Photos of Damage , Inventory List , Additional Living Expense and Utility Bills. Monday 9/15 spoke with Adjuster who advised “couple more days” settlement will be paid out. 9/17/25. 9/16 I called back because I got notification that BOTH my claims are closed . Spoke with Adjuster AGAIN who advised me that his supervisor told him that he couldn’t pay out on the claim the original Adjuster had to issue settlement because it’s the original claim. Then I asked am I starting over he said no his notes will transfer to original claim and all that adjuster have to do is issue payment . He provided me with her Extension. I called escalated phone to her , I told her what I was told and she said it’s not that simple DESPITE all this time and run around I’ve been giving she said let her speak with co worker . She called back advising my claim was being re Opened and now her NEW manager have to review my claim. I received ANOTHER claim acceptance notification only this time there are things missing . I’m beyond frustrated this has been the WORST claim’s handling experience I’ve ever experienced in my life of living . I’m still in pending status . I asked that my claim be SETTLED AND ISSUED TODAY SO I can continue to work. I’ve heard nothing. My next step is to Escalate this issue to the DIVISION OF INSURANCE TO INVESTIGATE MY CLAIM STILL HAS NOT BEEN PAID OUT AND ITS OVER 30 DAYS!!!

PAY MY CLAIM ITS PAST DUE AND IVE PROVIDED EVERYTHING THAT WAS ASKED OF ME
