My complaint:
I am reaching out to you today regarding my ongoing issue with the Aspen Dental in Rock Hill, South Carolina. For over a year now, they have not returned the money to my Medicare insurance. The situation arose when I expressed my dissatisfaction with the last set of dentures they provided, and I informed them that I no longer wanted to continue with their services. Consequently, they requested that I return the dentures they had made, even though I did not wish to keep them.
Although they did refund the money I had paid for the dentures, they failed to reimburse my insurance company. This has left me in a challenging situation, as I now have no financial assistance to cover the cost of dentures. My insurance, Humana, only covers dentures once every 5 years, and they have not received the refund from Aspen Dental.
Throughout the past year, I have repeatedly requested that Aspen Dental return the money to my insurance company. Even Humana has attempted to resolve the issue, but unfortunately, Aspen Dental has not cooperated.
I am at a loss regarding how to proceed. I am on a fixed income and cannot afford to pay for dentures out of pocket. I have considered reaching out to the media, but I would prefer to resolve this matter without resorting to such drastic measures.
Suggested solution:
A resolution to this matter would bring me great satisfaction. If Aspen Dental could simply return the money to Humana insurance, I would be able to access the support I need to pay for my next set of dentures. Having teeth in my mouth without enduring a lengthy financial burden is all I wish for. If you can assist me in achieving this, I would be extremely grateful and content with the outcome. Thank you for your assistance.
