My complaint:
I am a quadraplegic c’7 spinal cord injury. I’m confined to an electric wheelchair. I have a Van that’s accessible for me to drive. I cannot put the gas in by myself so every time I go to a gas station. I gotta ask an employees to come pump for me. I’ve been coming this Arco for the past 15 years and most of them were females. And I’ve never had this problem before this girl. She acted like she didn’t want to help me as soon as I went in the store to even pay for my gas. I had bad vibes At 1st I went up to the cash register and. I asked her 2 or 3 times if she was open and she ignored me all 3 times. I think she was reading a card or something in her hand but I know she heard me to make it long story short.
I paid for my gas and I told her the same person that. I was at pump 11 and I wanted put $70 in my Van. she came out and when we got to the gas pump I had to. Teach her how to open up the gas cap from inside the van,underneath the dash she did not want to do it. And she said how come I can’t do it because I said cause? I cannot reach it and i wasn’t strong enough to pull the latch,because my fingers didn’t work good I’m in a wheelchair and I told her. I never had any problems at this gas station for the past 15 years with nobody and I asked. Her how come she didn’t want to do it, she replied, safety reasons.i said your the first one that ever told me that since I’ve been disabled in my 29 years.she really acted like she didn’t want to help..so she walked back inside the store,leaving me helpless and vulnerable outside by myself.
So 10 n minutes later and ask this lady that drove up,and I ask her to pump my gas..she opened up my gas cap,from inside my van and pumped my gas with no problem… I feel like I got discriminated I want. To know what are your safety regulations for a rude employee since she told Me she did not want to open the gas cap for safety reasons. I thought you guys supposed to assist disabled people. At least that’s what the sign said that was posted up at your store.

They need to fire her for being discriminate against people wheelchairs
