My complaint:

Completed picking food and household materials and waited for my turn in the till. Till staff:
1. Started to fling the food and purchased items. Had to pick them from the floor. Requested him to calm a little bit down.
2. Showed aggressiveness in loud sliding of the dividers.
3. Started abusing that I am slow and need to be fast.
4. With just another 4-6 items (including eggs), I couldn’t them in the filled trolley and he repeatedly and annoyingly on top of the voice shouted – £58.22 card now, £58.22 Card now… to my embarrassment.
5. Repeatedly mentioned it is a cheap store so I to be fast.

I could have easily walked away stating that I don’t want to buy any of the items (trolley full), but I sympathized with other staff who were re-stocking there.

With the increasing crowd, only 1 till was open. It was not my fault, but the urgency and rudeness of this one staff.

However, the staff did seem to need behavioral and social skill help. I left the store totally shaken and panic attacked, that the shiver caused a coconut bottle to fall on the ground.

I was embarrassed, devasted and was dazed for 15 minutes with heavy sweating as I slowly drove home.

Never experienced anything like this before

Suggested solution:

Written apology letter from Aldi
Confirmation that the staff will be sent back to training and until evaluated fit for the role, not allow to work on till.
Confirm that the staff has been provided psychiatric or behavioural support so that he does become a threat to customers and a threat to himself.
