My complaint:
I purchased a $1 hot item, it rang up as $1.18. When asked why, was told it was the tax on the item. However at the end of the transaction I was charged tax again. I asked why I was being taxed twice for the same items and again was told because of DC tax laws.
Suggested solution:
The store in question should be investigated and fixed. I should be compensated as this has not been the first time this store has done this. After talking to several co-workers this has happened to them as well.
