My complaint:

I tried to place a order and decided to make my payment from my debit card my usual way of paying was through PayPal. However what happened was the payment was blocked WISH requesting photo ID. I was not happy to do this but after blocking out some of my personal details I forwarded a picture of my bank card as my ID. WISH replied to get back to me in a few days, this did not happen. I tried to reorder the item using my PayPal and then I was blocked on both WISH and PayPal. I tried to make complaints before now but without success. I am mostly concerned about WISH asking for photo ID without fully explaining what type of proof of ID they require and it appears to be fraudulent. I am still receiving constant reminders from WISH that my basket is waiting for check out and for photo ID,

Suggested solution:

I believe that WISH needs to give more details of what types of ID’s they require from a person
I also believe that it is to bigger risk to take asking for a person personal details online.
