My complaint:
I donated to multiple candidates, and then I noticed that those same candidates were emailing me for donations. When I looked back at my donations, I noticed they were through Winred. As I gathered more info, I see that not all the money I donated to Winred goes to the candidate. Winred charges 30-50 cents on the dollar, and the rest goes to the candidate. I don’t see this info up front when I donated. This is a scam. I emailed them and they have not responded.
Suggested solution:
Refund my donations so I can send them directly to the candidates, although it may be too late.
