Complaint: Unable to leave wink service

My complaint:

Wink had recently switched to a subscription service thereby charging its customers to a monthly fee service. I was a little upset by this because at the time of my purchase that was not part of the deal, however it seems that wink felt it was ok to alter the terms of that deal whenever they saw fit. At any rate I have since purchased another smart home hub with the intent of utilizing all of my smart home devices on the new hub. Unfortunately wink is no longer allowing me to unpair my z wave smart home devices that I purchased in order to leave their network and join the new network. It’s as though they’ve not rendered the equipment that I’ve purchased from them to be about as useful as a $100 paper weight, but now they’ve taken $1000 of my own smart home gadgetry hostage as well. I have since emailed them multiple times asking that they please reset my hub and remove all of my devices so I can use them elsewhere, but have received no response
