My complaint:

My daughter had been seeing Jillian Butters at this location, as of August 2022 we were notified of Jillian leaving this office. We were then told that we would be matched with another therapist and that I would receive a call. However, the call came, and I was told there were no therapists available. We were placed on the waiting list. We then received a call about an appointment for December however my daughter does not see male therapists so we could not take this appointment. We then were placed back on the list. I then received a call about an appointment for January 24, which I excepted. Today I get a call telling me they need to cancel this appointment as the therapist is no longer available. I then am told actually she has nothing, and I cannot schedule you with her. I’m then told I can be transferred back to central scheduling. I declined because I did not want to be transferred to another person to be told I was going back on the waiting list. I asked to speak to a manager at which time I was told I was talking to an office manager. It was very obvious by her tone she was not happy with me. This is absolutely unacceptable. If my daughter did not need these services, would I be going through this headache? We did not ask or have any warning of Jillian leaving. The therapist my daughter saw before Jillian also left the office. This has proven one thing to myself and my daughter no one really is interested in helping. She cannot trust anyone as she has been thrown away by two therapists now. Only after I put up a fuss do I even get an appointment. I already know after this visit we will be told they are scheduling out 3 plus months. This does not help my daughter’s mental health.

Suggested solution:

provide the services that you are supposed to be providing. This is mental health not something that can be just delayed and delayed.
