My complaint:
BOOTS main shop in Thirsk doesn’t open until 9.30 am and may be late in doing that (i.e. 10 mins in cold weather.
There is a small Boots (Chapel Street) which receives prescriptions from local doctors and the prescribed drugs etc. handed over to the patients when collected. This shop is very busy but always helpful with their responsible work. This shop is likely to be closed around Easter. The main store will, presumably, be taking ocer the task of supplying the prescriptions to patients..
The current owners already run down this store. Chaos following closure of Boots Chapel Street is inevitable with the huge amount of drugs needing to be held in stock.
The cost of running Chapel Street will be increased when transferred to the main store.and current owners, already cutting services there promise to create serious problems for the hundreds of doctors patients requiring prescriptions. Failure in the supply chain for these could easily be fatal in the long or even short term, let alone the difficulties for the aged , the sick, and the infirm.
Suggested solution:
Not close Boots Chapel Street.
