My complaint:
I bought a Trek Marlin 8 bike from https://www.alatin.com.tr/, which said it was the distributor of Trek Türkiye. Honestly, I didn’t check it much since it was a reliable brand and I bought it from a company that said it had a distributor.
Then, since the existing inner tube was not suitable for using anti-puncture fluid, I bought an original brand inner tube that was compatible with fluid and replaced it. After replacing the wheel, I turned the wheel manually to see if it was touching the brake disc. I couldn’t believe my eyes, there is a serious problem with the wheel and rim.
When I took it to the service, the technical service personnel said that the 2 outer tires and the front tire rim were problematic and replaced them.
Then the business owner came. I told him that he should at least apologize for delivering the product without checking it. The man kindly kicked me out. He prepared a service form that did not reflect the truth and voided the warranty of the bike. He said I could complain to anyone he wanted.
Now, when someone who understands bicycles watches the two videos I posted, they can see that this problem did not occur when I changed the inner tube, and that it was a manufacturing error in the tires.
I did not buy this product by trusting that company. I trusted the TREK brand. But unfortunately, the Trek brand in Turkey provides service and support in this way.
Suggested solution:
The owner of the company, who politely kicked me out of your store, calls me to apologize and ask that the bike, which is out of warranty, not be put under warranty. And I request that a warning be given or sanctions be imposed on this company, which behaves towards customers in a way that is not befitting of a Trek distributor and prepares faulty service reports.
