My complaint:
I am dropshipper – which has been explained several times over via numerous tickets on the TikTok seller central. This means I have limited control on the courier used by the warehous that sends out the purchased item. But the local last mile tracking number is later generated for all the couriers available in the UK and on TikTok.
The last mile tracking number is thus generated 5-7 days into the order process. However, on TikTok you only update the tracking number within 36 hours.
Realising this problem was going to affect 4 of the orders I had fulfilled, I raised a ticket on TikTik help centre 2 weeks before the orders were auto cancelled by the TikTok platform. I informed them that these orders have been delivered without an update on TikTok.
For over 2 weeks I chased and chased with no tangible response from TikTok. Now the order have been auto cancelled due to the length of time it took for them to respond to the tickets. Hence the buyer has been given back the money and they also have the product that as ordered – win win for them.
Tiktok is now refusing to pay me my money – almost £180 in total and they cannot even be bordered to discuss this with me – I requested a call to speak to a human being about this, I received a response to give a date and time, I did this 3 times, yet no one called me.
After chasing this for almost 1 months, I have received a response today that the matter is resolves and they are not paying me my money. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS AND DEFINITELY THE ONLY REASON THERE IS NO PHONE NUMBER TO CALL AND NOBODY TO DISCUSS WITH.
The platform is unorganised and treats every business as the same – which cannot be. It takes over 2 weeks to even get anyone to start talking about this issue, and they are not willing to accept responsibility at all.
