My complaint:
I purchased an item from someone’s TikTok shop in April. The item took weeks to arrive however when it came i noticed straight away the item was fake just by smelling it. I have purchased the Bobbi Brown face base on several occasions so i know the what the real cream is like. The texture of the cream, the smell of the cream was completely different. The pot had been filled up with a completely different substance. I attempted to contact the seller and they ignored me so i contacted tiktok. They advised that they will contact the seller and they have 48 hours to respond however tiktok never got back to me. I contacted tiktok again and they advised i need to request a refund through the seller which i did. They accepted the refund but only if i returned the item. Little did i know that the seller was in Singapore, it was going to cost me around £20 to return to item! this is not acceptable. I should not have to pay to return a fake item. So i contacted tiktok to explain this and they have ignored me. So today i have attempted to email them once again and have also come here.
Suggested solution:
I have the legal right to a FULL refund if i have been sold something counterfeit or fake.
Same thing happened to me with the Sol de janeiro cream. I have no idea how to even request a refund, I am so disappointed.
