Complaint from Dr Donald C Boden reported on 13 March 2020 about The Examiner

My complaint:

On the 10th or 11th of March on page3 printed that Professor Berni Einoder had been found guilty of a drink driving charge
Professor Einoder has.been a distinguished orthopaedic surgery
Medical School Lecturer and Administrator of Surgery at the Launceston General Hospial He has many distinguished awards and is an acknowledge international lecturer.
Although he has retired from active surgery he continues to act as a renowned consultant.
I believe the Examiner should never printed a discourteous and discretionary article which was most ungracious He as others with similar offences should be treated in a similar manner
I have written to the Editor of the Examiner and aletter to Letters to the Editor and have no acknowledgment.
This discretionary reporting is unfair and ungracious and an indictment of both the Examiner and the newspapers
Hopefully an an apology will be printed on the same page this weekend

Suggested solution:

An apology in writing and in the Examiner
