My complaint:

Today, Sunday September 19, 2021 at around 2:30 pm I was shopping in shoppers with my two daughters. As my younger child asks to use the restroom I looked around to locate the bathroom. As I passed the bakery section, There was a heavy set, Caucasian woman working there. I assumed she was putting icing on a cake or cupcake…I could not see that low…she picks up the spatula she was using and LICKS the icing right off the spatula she was using to ice whatever was in front of her!!! This is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING, very UNSANITARY, especially during this PANDEMIC!!!!! I am utterly disgusted and lost for words! She watched me as I saw her do this disgusting thing and she didn’t even seem nervous or embarrassed that she had gotten caught!!!! I requested to speak to the manager and the manager seemed very nonchalant when I told him what his employee had just done! I am not the one who dictates someone’s future but individuals like this do not deserve to work in areas like these. A bakery should be very cleaned, sanitized, and free of germs as much as you could help it! The manager did apologized and said it was unacceptable but to me…his response was very dry and uninterested. I urge someone to look at the cameras for that specific day time stamp between 2 -3:30 and see what she did! I had a fresh batch of baked cookies I had picked up prior to seeing this and I made sure I put it back! She did not have a mask on and I can’t recall if she had gloves on…I doubt it! I am never stepping foot in this shoppers ever again. She needs to be reprimanded for this awful, nasty, foul action!

Suggested solution:

She needs to be fired for such nasty behavior! the manager needs to be retrained!
