My complaint:
I purchased in January 2022 2 tickets for the current production of My Fair Lady – reference TT-76218906 online under my name of Nicholas Rideal.
This was going to be a treat for my daughter’s 20th. birthday. However, with the announcement of rail strikes, the performance being booked for the 2.00 show on Thursday June 23rd. I realised that we would have a major problem on the day travelling to London. I have contacted Customer Service several times in the past few days to fully explain my situation. However, I was told that I now needed to rebook my seats for another performance before a refund could be paid. However, I tried to inform them that this would be impossible in the current situation as, without the rail issue being resolved, I couldn’t select another day. I was somewhat annoyed in that the Customer Service department didn’t seem to show any concern over this major problem. Consequently, I shall now be losing £215, which was the cost of the tickets on this occasion, which included insurance, as well.. .
Suggested solution:
Ideally, I would hope that the company would refund the cost of the tickets,, failing which I would be happy with theatre tokens vouchers.
