My complaint:
My boyfriend and I were in the checkout line waiting our turn and when it was our turn to start putting the groceries on the conveyor belt My boyfriend attempted to put the case of water bottles up and the clerk snapped oh no no no no no no no no to my boyfriend, I’m assuming because she didn’t want to lift the water to put it in the buggy after she scanned it, and my boyfriend responded with please don’t talk to me like I’m a child I am not a child please don’t talk to me like that. And the clerk flipped out and told him to go fuck his mama and his mama was a bitch and called him all kinds of names so he in turn did the same thing to her and she kept on and he kept on and I interrupted the cashier because my boyfriend was exiting the store as I had asked him to do and I asked the girl to please stop that his mom was deceased and it was a sensitive point for him and that she was acting very unprofessional. She in turn started cussing me out and got in my face which I did the same and we were literally nose to nose about the go to jail fighting over this clerk’s attitude and her mouth. She was more unprofessional than I have ever seen in my 42 years of existence. I literally have never seen a clerk act like this without provocation based on her own slick mouth. The other clerk said nothing and did nothing. I’m not sure if she was a manager or not. But they were the only two workers I seen in the entire store. When I was leaving the store I did get out of character from being so upset with the lady’s nose literally touching mine about to fight in a store for no good reason, so on the way out of the store I did pull down the rack of coupon books or coupon pages whatever it would be and then the other clerk yelled at me hey. And I screamed that’s what you get for not calling this woman out on what she’s been doing because she didn’t even act like we were doing anything. She didn’t look at us she didn’t anything and I do believe she was the manager but I’m not quite positive. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had in the store in my life. This clerk which was a black female working at 1:30 p.m. on October 13th 2024. There were only two clerks. This one was black the other was white. I am white my boyfriend is white. The clerk took on racist offense rather quickly. A customer separated us for God’s sakes. I’m not even a fighter but this girl deserves everything that she gets whenever she gets it one day. I do hope that she will not be employed with you guys any longer as she is not worthy of a job. You guys will have a lawsuit on your hands very soon with that lady working. Especially if I go back in there and she acts the way she did today. I am so upset. I won’t be surprised if I don’t inquire is to some legal reciprocation because of this. I am emotionally scarred for real. This lady really really needs to be in jail.
Suggested solution:
Fire the lady. I promise you with all good sense and intentions this lady has no place working with customers. She will either get you sued or steal out her drawer or something. I guarantee it. I would put money on it that she's going to screw you guys over somehow. If she hasn't already with this. I haven't made up my mind yet
