My complaint:
2LB Rolls of hamburger was reduced in price. The meat dept employee told me it was half price. The current price wasis $5.98. Cashier rang 3 of my 4 rolls up as $4.00 ea. She told me they were originally priced at $8.98 ea. She (Evelyn) also told me that she knew my 4th roll wouldn’t ring up half price bc it wasdated Feb 4th, so it was put back. Problem here is the register was not putting the prices in, SHE was manually putting the prices in herself. Also, the following day wasis Feb 4th so the expiration date is the following day and my other rolls are dated Feb 4th too. I took my bags to my vehicle and went back to the meat dept to take a picture verify the price. Evelyn then told me I could bring my meat back she would ring it up regular price. I feel her remark was an unnecessary smart mouthed remark. She also told me I had the wrong sized roll. She said it should’ve been a 2 lb roll (which is what I had). Instead of trying to civilly resolve an issue, Evelyn was busy coming up with excuses,
Suggested solution:
This isn’t the first bad customer service experience I’ve had in this store. Please give all your employees (including the manager) customer service classes. If the prices should have been half of $5.98, I’d like a $3 refund. If the price was correct, teach customer service.
