My complaint:
Concerning Ad Oct. 27-Nov.2 Ad items impossible to find. 2-Day Ad ~ no employees in the store seemed to know anything about the sale! I’m looking for a small grocery store that I can navigate easily by myself without a wheelchair. Save-A-Lot was not that store on this grocery trip, because I need to find my list fast get out before my legs collapse.
My list:
Chicken Leg Quarters – $0.59lb. ~ Never found.
Angus Bacon-wrapped Beef Filets -10 oz. package $5.99 each ~ They did not have any of these. No rain check offered.
Large Red Baron Pizza $1.99 each. I finally found these, but the signs said they were $6.something each.
Whole Pork Butt ~ $1.69lb. Again, I got it, but not without fighting for it. After begging, the butcher brought me out 1 from the back. I had nothing to choose from. It was just take this one or leave it.
73% Lean Ground Beef – $2.99lb. I was told this meat was the package that cost $16.50-ish each….not $14.95 each, so I couldn’t get it.
Borden Cheese Shreds or Chunks – $1.99 each. I needed 6 packages. Did not exist! Pathetic store performance! I’m not sure my husband will ever let me go back to this store, unless you can make this right, ’cause Brookshire’s is a lot closer to me.
Suggested solution:
They should give me every sale item they made me struggle with, which turned out to be every item on my list.
