My complaint:
I worked at Quality Home Care service for about two months. I am in a Masters Program in Social Work. I was told that I was to be trained every day I went in, but nothing happened. The person that was signing my hours was not a LMSW. I was told eventually that I had to find another site because the supervisor did not even take time to evaluate my credentials to understand that I am qualified to be trained in the MSW field. The person that was supervising me, made a statement that she did not think a first year student should be trained. I was told after two months to find another site. I was doing administrative duties, and the hours that was signed does not count.
Suggested solution:
I understand my hours don\'t count, so I worked at that agency for nothing. It that the law. Should I be working for nothing? I don\'t know what the solution should be.
