My complaint:

At 4pm on Monday, July 10, 2023 I entered the PNC branch with my daughter who would not take me back home without me writing her a check. She got her check and I got home.
By 11:30 am on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 I had filed a stop payment request against my daughter’s check issued the prior evening. Mr. Brandon Owens told my son and I the money would get redeposited in my account if my daughter had not tried to negotiate the check before my stop payment request.
My daughter first tried to negotiate the check on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.
A week later on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 9:13am Tower FCU called awakening my engagement in a recorded conference call with my daughter and PNC on a recorded call that lasted five and a half minutes. Did PNC also record the call? During the July 19 conference call I was asked twice if I still wanted to stop payment on my daughter’s check and I twice immediately answered yes, stop payment. During the conference call my daughter asked me why and I answered.
Days after the conference call, Mr. Brandon Owens told me my daughter contested my stop payment action so PNC started a PNC internal investigation that ends with the money redeposited in my account.
On Friday, August 18, 2023 I go into PNC’s branch and Mr. Brandon Owens tells me my daughter had received the money by PNC’s corporate OK, but I should still receive the redeposit.
WHERE IS MY MONEY???
I, like many others I see banking here, first opened Riggs Bank accounts before Mr. Owens was born.

Suggested solution:

PNC should honor the stop payment request and redeposit $18,000.00 in my checking account with interest from July 11, 2023.
