Philips complaint: 9 month old fx10 stereo with speakers that quit working

My complaint:

I purchased Philip fx10 stereo system through Amazon, Sept. 3 2022. It is now, June 28th. About 2-3 weeks ago, the stereo speakers quit producing sound. The system itself turns on, but no sound.

I try to troubleshoot by checking volume, unplugging and reconnecting the wire connection of speakers to stereo, checking the mute button, and switching to different outlets to no avail.

Calling the Philip number provided by company, the representative stated couldn’t find or help me with this particular model and gave me another number to call for assistance. When I dialed number several times, I received a busy signal each time.

A second attempt was made to call first number I had. A different agent answered and again, said couldn’t find this stereo model. I expressed I received a number from different representative, but busy signal every time I tried to use it. A new number was provided.

So, I called that number and was able to talk to someone. I reviewed my issue. The agent told me I will be receiving email within 24-48 hrs. with further instructions to resolve problem, as well as stating all further communications would be by email.

I did receive email and provided all information that was asked of me. Pictures, proof of purchase, model, and serial numbers were sent via email.

It has been over a week, now. No response! I reached out 2 more times requesting an email response to my complaint. Nothing, not one email from Philip.

After looking at reviews online since dealing with this, many reviews state customer service is nonexistent with aid. Many people also, reported problems with this fx10 system, including speakers not working among other issues.

My stereo is like new and I want to be able to return it, since it was almost $200 and doesn’t work.

I’m beyond frustrated and digusted that a company can get away with doing this to people. I hope you’ll be able to help me resolve this issue.
