My complaint:
I had my mom for 9 yrs paid or not (6) not DSS (afamily member ) would come out three times a week stating they received several complaints for neglect. Unfound this time Hope 4 NC asked them to come out for resources for my mom’s house. I had to go to court pay monies I don’t have and anger management. All because of them saying I abused my mom. NEVER have I did anything but take the best care of her. I am suffering with depression now due to the lies told. I don’t it’s fair or professional for them to make assumptions before an investigation no investigation was done.
Suggested solution:
The whole department needs to be retrained and rotated to a different location. They have become complacent.
