My complaint:

I am writing to bring to your attention a concerning issue that has arisen following the recent installation of a smart meter at my residence.

Since the installation, I have encountered significant problems with the functionality of the night storage heaters in my home. Prior to the smart meter installation, these heaters were operating efficiently. However, post-installation, they have ceased to function as expected, causing a considerable inconvenience during the colder nights.

I understand that the smart meter installation is meant to enhance energy efficiency and provide accurate readings. However, it is disheartening to experience a decline in the performance of essential appliances such as the night storage heaters after the installation.

I kindly request that you prioritize and expedite the resolution of this matter. Given the current weather conditions, it is crucial to have the heating system functioning properly to maintain a comfortable living environment.

Please arrange for a technician to visit my residence at the earliest convenience to assess and rectify the issue with the night storage heaters. I believe that attention to this matter will prevent any further inconvenience and ensure the smooth operation of my heating system.
