My complaint:
I checked in requesting a non smoking, king bed on the first floor 122320.The lady at the desk was pleasant. We talked about her car. She was doing laundry. I paid $55. Went to the room. Was appalled! Smelled like an ashtray. I went back out to find her. Her car was there but she didn’t respond. It was raining. There was rain coming in the room. The drapes were open. I closed them. They didn’t stay closed. I used paper clips to put them back up, and to close them. I pulled back the cover on the bed. Huge stain on the top cover, stains on the sheets, none of the pillow cases matched, there were not pillow protectors on the pillows, no mattress pad on the bed. I had to go to the store to purchase a blanket and pillow so I could sleep. The property was filthy. I cleaned with microban. Lamp was rusted. Plugged in the tv, electrical socket smelled like it was burning. Went to use the bathroom. Broken toilet lid, less than 14 roll of toilet paper. No soap. The towels had stains on them. I used beach towels I had in my car to be safe. I wouldn’t put my bare feet on the floor as there was stuff stuck to the floor. It looked like either blood or red rusty substance running down the wall. The bathroom door appeared to be from a trash dump. There was rust on top of the mini fridge. On the shelf there had to be 15 cards from past stays that hadn’t been dusted in quite some time. I went looking for the guest service person again. Now here car was gone. I left and no one was at the desk. I have pictures of everything. I called and spoke to a manager. She said she had only been there a month but she appreciated my feedback and I quote this will be something to briefly discuss going forward for future stay, and not just with you but with anyone. What does that mean? First of all, I want my money back, I paid for the cleaning as I had to do it, I had to by something to sleep under and on. I would have slept in my car had it not been raining and I had paid. Briefly discuss. This property needs to be demolished.
I have sent two complaints to the BBB 123020 and 111. Business is not refunding.

Refunded my money for the room charge and the cost of the pillow and blanket.
